Finding an Omega from the 40s in well preserved condition is quite difficult. But to find one with so well designed Art Deco numerals on a flawless dial with a beautiful sub second is near impossible.

This beauty with a sharp stainless steel case and slightly down turned lugs is even more rare because of the Omega logo with the "Fab. Suisse" writing below.

This was used before the "Swiss Made" writing which we are used to later on and still today. Inside we have the reliable Omega Cal. 266 - it dates back to 1944.

 CASE:

  • excellent overall condition, showing no traces of use
  • 3- body stainless steel case with snap-on case back
  • 35 mm (without crown) / 41 mm (lug-to-lug) / 18 mm (between lugs) / 8.1 mm thick
  • year: 1944
  • reference: 2403 - 2
  • total weight: 31 g

MOVEMENT:

  • Omega Caliber 266 - manual wind
  • 17 jewels, 18000 A/h, 45 hours power reserve
  • professionally serviced 09/2024
  • +19 sec/d / 230°

DIAL:

  • original never touched cream dial in outstanding condition
  • original hands and Omega mushroom crown

STRAP & BUCKLE:

  • grey aftermarket leather strap fitting up to 20 cm wrist size / 2.3 mm thick
  • aftermarket steel buckle
