Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date 18k 1983

If you want a classic Rolex workhorse watch that looks effortless, look no further. This Rolex Oyster Perpetual Reference 15008 is really a watch anyone will look good today and 50 years from now. The Oyster Perpetual has been in production since the late 1950s, and not much has changed.

A solid yellow gold case with a gorgeous bluish developed patina on the right side. The clean bezel, the beautiful and champagne colored dial with refined stick hour markers keep the appearance simple and elegant.

On the case back we find an engraving for Mr. Giorgio Burini. This Rolex OP Date was given to the pilot Mr. Burini by his company Alitalia for its 30th anniversary in 1983. Alitalia was founded in 1946 and was Italy’s national airline.
