Super rare german Bauhaus design from 1942.
One of the last wristwatches to leave the Glashütte factory before the end of the Second World War. After the end of the Second World War, the Glashütte watch manufacturers were expropriated by the Soviets and Glashütte watch production was merged into a single company, VEB Glashütter Uhrenbetriebe (GUB), from 1951 onwards. The individual A. Lange & Söhne Glashütte watch brand disappeared from the market. History you can touch.
It was ordered in July 1941 and delivered almost one year later in May 1942 to a customer in Budapest, Hungary. Selling price 1942 was 841,- Reichsmark. It comes with the copy of the first order form from 1942 and an extract from the archives of A. Lange & Söhne Glashütte.
