Here we have a beautifully finished and very rare (maybe 1/1) Audemars Piguet dress watch from the 1970s with an amazingly designed silver striped dial. This particular piece is notable for its beautiful unpolished condition and a two tone 18k yellow and white gold ultra-thin case and braided two tone bezel.

In 1953, AP introduced the Ultra thin 2003 caliber, which was designed, developed and produced by Jaeger LeCoultre and decorated by Audemars Piguet. By 2003 these slim movements were in the AP catalogs and still the slimmest movements on the market!

CASE:

  • excellent overall condition, showing minor traces of use
  • 3- body 18k yellow and white gold case  with snap-on case back
  • beautiful braided two tone bezel
  • 28mm (without crown) / 33 mm (lug-to-lug) / 18 mm (between lugs)
  • Year: 1970s
  • Ref: B56179

MOVEMENT:

  • Audemars Piguet Cal. 2003/1 - manual wound
  • 17 jewels, 18000 A/h, 36 hours power reserve
  • professionally serviced 12/2023
  • -7sec/d / 260°

  • original never touched two tone silver dial in flawless condition
  • original hands, dial & crown
