Omega Chronograph Ref. 2393 – Jumbo Rose Gold Cal. 33.3 CHRO
A very rare find from the golden era of Omega chronographs — this Omega Ref. 2393 from 1947 combines a large 37.5 mm 18k rose gold case with one of the manufacture’s most historically important chronograph movements.
Inside beats the Omega Cal. 33.3 CHRO T5-170, a highly regarded manual-winding chronograph caliber known for its precision, durability, and elegant construction. Developed in the 1930s, this movement family is especially admired by collectors as an important predecessor to the legendary Omega Cal. 321, later made famous by the Speedmaster and Moonwatch history.
The watch itself offers exceptional wrist presence thanks to its jumbo rose gold case, long lugs, and beautifully balanced proportions. The original silver dial remains in good condition, showing only a light and even patina that adds warmth and authenticity without disturbing the overall elegance.
Rose hands and arabic numerals complete the refined look, giving the chronograph a classic and highly sophisticated appearance. Preserved in excellent overall condition, this is a rare opportunity to acquire one of Omega’s most important vintage chronograph references.
A collector-grade Omega chronograph — combining historical movement significance, precious metal presence, and timeless elegance.
