First released in 1952, the Constellation was Omega's answer to the Rolex Datejust.
This compact and beautiful Omega Constellation Date automatic chronometer has everything you want in a daily dress watch: 33 mm 18k yellow gold case, center second, a very beautiful white/silver dial and rare gold/black stick hour markers and handset. Not often seen on Constellations is also the coin edge finishing on the bezel.
This one even is a more rare model as it has the Japanese dial configuration where the position of Omega typo and model name are switched. This is indicating that it was first produced and sold for Japanese market.
