Patek Philippe Calatrava 18k 1956

This Patek Philippe Calatrava is a self-winding watch. Sounds not spectacular but this fact makes this watch so special, because the caliber 12-600 AT was Patek Philippe’s very first automatic movement, which is considered by collectors to be the finest automatic movement in the watch industry. Icing on the cake is the incredible finished 18k yellow gold rotor.

The untouched dial has developed its own personal vintage character over the years and today has an almost mysterious caramel patina. This gives this watch an absolutely unique and warm appearance.
