Piaget Ellipse Roman 18k 1970s

€2.700

Launched in 1957, the 9P caliber was groundbreaking for 2 reasons: standing at 2mm, it was the thinnest manual-wound movement ever made for wristwatches, and its 20.5mm diameter was much larger than the standard, therefore allowing for larger cases.

Our 18k Ellipse Model comes in a fantastic condition including the original strap and buckle.

CASE:

  • great overall condition, showing minor traces of use (unpolished)
  • 3- body 18k yellow gold case with screw-down case back
  • comes with the original Piaget leather strap and gold plated buckle
  • 25 mm (without crown) / 33 mm (lug-to-lug) / 16 mm (between lugs)
  • Year: 1970s
  • Ref.: 9862

MOVEMENT:

  • Piaget Cal. 9P - manual wind
  • 17 jewels, 18000 A/h, 52 hours power reserve
  • professionally serviced 11/2023
  • +12sec/d / 260°

DIAL:

  • original never touched golden colored dial in flawless condition
  • original hands, dial, crown & crystal
