Launched in 1957, the 9P caliber was groundbreaking for 2 reasons: standing at 2 mm, it was the thinnest manual-wound movement ever made for wristwatches, and its 20.5 mm diameter was much larger than the standard, therefore allowing for larger cases.

Its slimness was not only a technical accomplishment, it also allowed the manufacture to fit dials made of hard stones while retaining a thin profile. This Piaget features a 18k white gold dial and case with hobnail texture. Icing on the cake are the blued steel leaf hands and the 18k white gold hobnail case. It wears pretty large due to the high lug-lug size.

CASE:

  • great overall condition, showing almost no traces of use (unpolished)
  • 3- body 18k white gold Hobnail case with screw-down case back
