Audemars Piguet Disco Volante 18k 1960s

When we hold this piece in our hands it simply leaves us speechless. So many details that it is almost difficult to mention them all. Hidden lugs, stunning fine Florentine bezel finishing, golden sunburst dial with stick hour markers and hands and Sub Second housing in an 18k yellow gold Disco Volante "Ed. Wenger SA" case.

On the inside of the case back we also find the „key of Geneva“ stamp with the the number 1 which tells us that the case was produced in Geneva by „Ed. Wenger SA“ which produced wach cases from 1934 to 1992.

DIAL:

• original and never touched golden sunburst dial in good condition
  
• some tiny patina spots between one and three o'clock
• original hands dial and crown

STRAP & BUCKLE:

• black leather strap fitting up to 20 cm wrist size / 3.4 mm thick
• yellow gold plated after market buckle

CASE:

• excellent overall condition, showing minor traces of use
• 3- body 18k yellow gold Ed. Wenger SA case with snap-on case back
• 32 mm (without crown) / 32 mm (lug-to-lug) / 15 mm (between lugs) / 7 mm thick
