Omega "Big Scarab" Copper, 1939 - Architectural lugs. Copper charm. Timeless early Omega.
This rare and stunning Omega from 1939 showcases one of the most dramatic case designs of the pre-war era: the oversized “scarab” lugs, extending the case to nearly 50 mm lug-to-lug and giving it the wrist presence of a modern 37–38 mm watch.
The dial, an untouched copper tone, has developed a warm and even patina, lending it incredible depth and authenticity. The blued steel stick hands add a quiet contrast and a flash of elegance under light — a detail you don’t forget once you see it in motion.
Inside, you’ll find the Omega Caliber 23.4 SC T1, a hand-wound movement from Omega’s golden age of innovation, known for its reliability and slim profile.
This is a piece of early Omega design language that speaks directly to collectors of form-driven vintage watches.
