The first Ceinture watch dates back to 1927. And in 1973-1974 the model was re-released in two different case sizes, 25 mm and 27 mm.
The Ceinture was so named because the case is shaped like a belt buckle (ceinture is the French word for belt) and features a very interesting square case with what appear to be “cut” corners.
The „PARIS“ text at six o’clock on the dial and on the case back denote that this Cartier was retailed out of a boutique in Paris or London.
