Cartier Ceinture “PARIS” – Belt-Buckle Icon with Paris Signature (1980s)
Originally introduced in 1927, the Cartier Ceinture takes its name from the French word for belt, reflected in its distinctive square case with cut corners, inspired by a belt buckle. Revived in the 1970s, the design remains one of Cartier’s most architectural and elegant creations.
This example features the sought-after “PARIS” dial, with matching case-back signature, indicating it was retailed through a Cartier Paris or London boutique. The crisp white MK2 dial, blued steel sword hands, and compact 25 mm yellow an white gold case give the watch a refined, timeless presence.
An unmistakable Cartier classic — elegant, graphic, and deeply rooted in the maison’s design history.
