Longines Flyback Chronograph Ref. 7414 – Legendary Caliber 30CH
When it comes to vintage chronograph movements, few names command as much respect as Longines and the legendary Caliber 30CH. Revered by collectors for its precision, construction, and beautifully smooth operation, the 30CH stands among the great chronograph calibers ever produced.
Its predecessor, the famous Longines 13ZN, is often considered one of the finest chronograph movements ever designed. Introduced in 1947, the 30CH carried over the same celebrated architecture and retained the highly desirable flyback function, allowing the chronograph to be instantly reset and restarted with a single push — a feature originally developed for professional timing applications.
This particular example, Ref. 7414, elevates the technical brilliance of the movement with a midsize 36 mm yellow gold case and a beautifully preserved silver sunburst dial. The balanced proportions, clean dial layout, and warm gold tones create a chronograph that feels both sophisticated and purposeful.
Preserved in outstanding conditionthis watch is a rare opportunity to own one of the most respected vintage flyback chronographs ever made.
