When the Rolex Oysterquartz Datejust  was introduced in 1977, the 5035 movements were not sent to the COSC, so the Oysterquartz Datejust manufactured during the years 77-79 don't wear the text Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified.

For example our white Buckley Dial only has three lines and is called a Mark 1 Dial or a three liner. They are more rare and it's near impossible to find them in NOS condition like our example.

CASE:

  • excellent overall condition, showing no trace of use (NOS)
  • 3- body stainless steel & yellow gold case with screw-down case back
  • 36 mm (without crown) / 44 mm (lug-to-lug) / 20 mm (between lugs)
  • the original Oyster Bracelet has never been worn and no stretch
  • Year: 1979
  • Reference: 17013

MOVEMENT:

  • Rolex Quartz Caliber 5035
  • professionally serviced 05/2021
  • no movement shot because its pressure tested (certificate included)

DIAL:

  • original never touched MK1 white buckley dial in flawless condition
  • original hands, dial & crown
  • a little bit of lume is missing in the minute hand
