Here we have a very special Rolex dress watch from the 1940s. Before Rolex was famous for their sport models they made among others these dressy reference 4498.

With the silver two tone sub second dial with art deco numerals, golden leaf hands, silver dot minute track this beauty is still striking a figure 80 years after production. The mushroom crown and curved lugs are the icing on the cake.
