This Universal Genéve Square in 18k yellow gold is something really special and you won't see often on other wrists. It was produced only over a 7 year span in the mid 1950s. It has some elements of the Polerouter such as the bezel, which is not triumphant on the dial as usual but on the 18k yellow gold square case with its filigree hobnail finishing. This design detail exudes a different kind of magic and creates a surprising presence on the wrist.
In collectors circles these watch shape is also called "Cioccolatone" (Italian for chocolate). Our example comes in outstanding condition. The case is sharp, crisp and defined. This particular reference 10240 was produced by around 40-100 pieces, which makes it even more desirable for watch enthusiasts around the world.
