The Universal Genève Polerouter, introduced in 1954, is one of the most iconic designs by a young Gérald Genta, created at just 24 years old. Developed in collaboration with Scandinavian Airlines System (SAS), the Polerouter was engineered to withstand the strong magnetic fields encountered on polar flight routes — a true innovation of its time.

The interest gained significantly and these models have become highly sought after, especially following the revival and reissue of Universal Genève under new ownership by Breitling.
