The Polerouter was produced in 1954 by Universal Genève in partnership with Scandinavian Airline System (SAS) by a then 24-year-old Gerald Genta. Universal Genève developed the automatic Polerouter to be more resistant to the strong magnetic fields at the North and South poles.
The version you see here is a very rare Reference with a stunning matt black dial in flawless condition and a rose gold monocoque case. Overall, this is a beautiful designed watch with a rich aviation history.
