Universal Geneve Polerouter Date 1968

The Polerouter was produced in 1954 by Universal Genève in partnership with Scandinavian Airline System (SAS) by a then 24-year-old Gerald Genta. Universal Genève developed the automatic Polerouter to be more resistant to the strong magnetic fields at the North and South poles.

The version you see here is stainless steel with a rare concave shaped grey dial. The case and bracelet (UG - Gay Freres) are in NOS condition.
