Here we have a beautiful example of a time only, 32 mm 18k yellow gold Vacheron Constantin Calatrava from the 1950s. This piece has a silver sunburst dial with applied 18k baton hour markers and clean hands. The icing on the cake is the applied Vacheron Constantine logo with the maltese cross.

This particular piece is very special with it's engraving on the case back "Aurora astra i soci riconoscenti" (in English: "aurora astra the grateful members"), which refers to a previous Italian owner. So this Vacheron Constantin could have been a present to a special member of a project from 1951 - 1961.
