Golden Era Sophistication — Rare Spillmann-Case Vacheron Constantin
Crafted in the 1940s, this exquisite Vacheron Constantin embodies timeless elegance with its rare Spillmann case and masterfully balanced two-tone dial.
A true rarity, this 18k yellow gold dress watch is cased by the legendary C.R. Spillmann & Co., best known for producing waterproof cases for chronographs of the era — and rarely seen on Vacheron pieces. The silver-champagne-colored dial features a beautiful two-tone finish with a 12-3-6-9 Roman layout, inner minute track, and slender gold dagger markers.
Its slightly downturned lugs and subtle case curves make for a profile that’s both classic and distinguished. Inside ticks the Vacheron Constantin Caliber 477, an early “bumper” automatic movement — a fascinating touch of horological heritage.
