This exceptional Zenith Jumbo Chronograph is a perfect reminder that the manufacture’s greatness extends far beyond the famous El Primero. Fitted with the highly regarded Zenith Cal. 156, this watch represents the golden era of Swiss chronograph production.

The Cal. 156 is a manually wound column-wheel chronograph movement developed by Martel, the specialist movement maker later absorbed by Zenith in 1960. Before that, Martel supplied chronograph movements to prestigious manufacturers such as Universal Genève — a testament to the technical quality behind this caliber.

Housed in a beautifully proportioned 37.5 mm 18k rose gold case, this example offers impressive wrist presence while remaining elegant and refined. The original champagne dial is wonderfully balanced, with two symmetrical registers, a clean outer scale, and blued hands that add just the right touch of contrast.

There is no unnecessary flash here — only function turned elegant. Preserved in excellent overall condition and paired with its original Zenith strap and buckle, this is a rare and highly charismatic vintage chronograph.

A quiet but powerful collector’s piece — combining jumbo proportions, rose gold warmth, and one of Zenith’s great manual chronograph movements.
